This is a photograph taken by Chien-Chi Chang. It is a part of his photographic series on New York City's Chinatown. This installation shot shows one of his images from that series in the exhibition "Not Your Chop Suey Chinatown" in 2002 at AAAC.

The subject in the photograph wears only his underpants, sitting on the fire escape of an apartment while eating a large bowl of noodles. The location of the photograph is on the Bowery.
